Last updated July 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Campsite Grabber, LLC (“Campsite Grabber,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, monitoring service, and communications.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, authentication settings, profile image, and agreement records.
- Trip and scan information: destinations, dates, stay lengths, campsite preferences, scan status, and observed availability.
- Billing information: subscription and transaction identifiers supplied by our payment processor. We do not store full payment-card numbers.
- Alert information: email addresses and mobile numbers, invited recipient addresses, SMS consent evidence, delivery status, verification, unsubscribe, bounce, and complaint records.
- Usage and device information: pages and actions, referring URLs, approximate network information, browser/device data, cookies, request identifiers, and diagnostic logs.
- Support communications: information you include when contacting us.
How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize scans; detect availability; deliver and deduplicate alerts; process subscriptions; secure accounts; prevent abuse; troubleshoot provider and delivery failures; measure and improve the service; communicate with you; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication, security, preferences, and checkout continuity. We also use first-party product analytics to understand feature usage and service performance. Browser settings can limit cookies, but disabling essential cookies may prevent the service from working.
How we share information
We share information only as needed with service providers that support:
- hosting, databases, storage, monitoring, and error reporting;
- payment processing and subscription management;
- transactional email, text messaging, number verification, and delivery-event handling;
- reservation availability retrieval; and
- security, legal compliance, and business operations.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, during a business transaction, or with your direction. Reservation providers receive normal network requests needed to retrieve public availability; Campsite Grabber does not send them your account password or payment-card details.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and active scan information while your account is open. Detailed operational and availability records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for monitoring, history, security, analytics, and legal obligations, then deleted or aggregated. Billing and abuse-prevention records may be retained where legally required. You can delete your account from your profile or contact us for assistance.
Your choices and rights
You can update account and alert settings, remove invited recipients, unsubscribe from alert emails, stop alert texts by replying STOP, cancel billing, and close your account through the service. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.
Security and international processing
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child provided information to the service.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will identify the current effective date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to jeremy@campsitegrabber.com.
